Bill grew up in Dickson County, about 30 miles west of Nashville. Developing a love for drawing from an early age, it wasn't until years later that he considered it a possible career choice. After many years and quite a few jobs he wised up and attended Austin Peay State University and finished with a BFA in art with a concentration in graphic design in 1992. After a brief stint in the advertising department at A.O. Smith he joined the ranks of Ingram Book Company as a graphic designer/illustrator.

Bill has had work published in The Nashville Scene, the Ingram Advance magazine, and all the companies that live under the "Ingram umbrella." He has created logos/signage for clients such as Solstice Construction, The Knaughty Knitter and The Women's National Book Association among others. He has created CD packaging/design for musicians Aaron Burdett and Josh Rouse. He has years experience creating greeting cards and has several children's books in the works. Also, he has had his paintings shown in the annual Central South Art Exhibit at Belmont University, Trahern Gallery in Clarksville,Tn., the annual PennyRoyal show in Hopkinsville Kentucky and a one-man show at Itawamba college in Mississippi to name a few. His work is hung in many homes throughout middle Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Boston. He is always looking for new opportunities to create; whether for financial gain or his own satisfaction.

While Bill's creative adventures have included graphic design, painting and music, (and many really crappy jobs), the one constant has been illustration. To this day he will amuse himself for hours on end with a pen and drawing book. He resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
